Industrial Revolution Book Groups are in full swing.  Students were able to choose a book from our selection of 4 titles and they selected, as small groups, how much they would read for each of 6 meetings.  They began meeting on Monday April 30, and their final meeting will be on May 17.  Students who do not earn passing grades during their book group meetings will be responsible for a response to text test at the end of the quarter.

This week in Humanities 8

We are beginning to actively study how geography has an impact on culture.

We are learning more about how to be self directed when conducting research:  students are learning the role that technology can play in conducting research and how to frame open ended questions when conducting interviews.
