This week in Humanities 8 

We are beginning to actively study how geography has an impact on culture.

We are learning more about how to be self directed when conducting research:  students are learning the role that technology can play in conducting research and how to frame open ended questions when conducting interviews.

Students should have handed in their first primary source analysis sheet.   

Students should hand in their first Primary Source Analysis Sheet by February 17, 2012.  

Poetry Poetry Poetry Poetry Poetry Poetry Students should be wrapping up reading their challenge book.  The movie must be watched soon.  Poetry The rough draft of their response to text is due, word processed on March 9.  

We are now in the "green" phase of the quarter; all independent writing handed in between now and February 23 will receive 5 bonus points.
